Powerbrace Corporation's Rail Products Division Extends Agreement for Services with The Offshore Group
The premier manufacturer of engineered products for the rail industry extends its agreement for outsourced manufacturing support services in Mexico.
TUCSON, AZ, April 08, 2010 /Industrial PR News/ -- Kenosha, Wisconsin-based Powerbrace Corporation has opted to extend its agreement for services in Mexico with The Offshore Group until 2017.
Powerbrace initiated operations at The Offshore Group's La Angostura Industrial Park in Saltillo, Coahuila at the beginning of 2005. Today the company occupies a total of 101,195 in three industrial buildings.
According to the company's President, Mike Weber, "The decision to commit to extending our stay in Mexico builds on our established success in the business model and continued confidence in the Offshore Group, their expertise, and commitment to providing outstanding support services for our manufacturing operations in Saltillo."
The Powerbrace Rail Products Division (RPD) manufactures outlet gates and brake beams for the rail industry. The RPD is a subsidiary of Miner Enterprises, a leading producer of engineered railcar components since 1894. Their quality system is certified to the rigorous standards set by the Association of American Railroads M-1003 standards.
The Offshore Group has enabled companies to establish operations in their Mexico industrial parks at low cost and risk since 1986. Firms in the aerospace, automotive and transportation equipment, electronics, medical device, HVAC and general manufacturing industries are able to focus on their core competencies under its ISO registered Shelter Program.
