Shoppa's Mid America announces Dave James as their new general manager. James brings over 25 years of material handling experience.
/Industrial PR News/ - KANSAS CITY, MO, May 21, 2008 — Shoppa's Mid America, announced today the hire of their new General Manager Dave James for their Kansas City Location. James brings over 25 years experience working in the material handling industry nearly doubling and tripling company profits.
"Dave's insights, perspectives, and business building strategies are proven powerful and effective time and time again," said owner of Shoppa's Mid America Jim Shoppa. "The benefits our employees and business will gain from James will take our company to the next level."
In his previous roles, James has worked in the material handling business recovering a company from losing a $1million per year, to making a $200,000 profit after the second year. James has then gone on to grow businesses from $18 million to $58 million in sales and increasing market share from 9 percent to 23.5 percent.
"I am really excited about my new position as General Manager at Shoppa's," said James. "It is a great company and I already have ideas on how to improve profitability and performance."
